A newborn photoshoot is the must-have session for parents. The first days of your newborn's life are some of the most precious moments that can get lost amongst a blurry cloud of euphoria. With our pictures, you will always remember them as small as they are now.
We offer two newborn styles...
The classic newborn, perfectly suited to parents who want something posed, without being too fussy. This style incorporates simple props such as baskets and blankets, and bespoke outfits and headbands. The other is a documentary style, which can be captured in the comfort of your own home and focuses on the natural moments between you and your family bonding with your new addition.
Both styles are performed with a laid-back approach allowing you to sit back and relax.

Newborn Shoot Criteria
For the super cute, sleepy newborn shots featured in our gallery, we recommend your baby to be no more than 14 days old (based on a full-term baby).

Our classic newborn shoots are based in our Southgate, North London studio, however, if you are unable to travel and would prefer to shoot in our Kent location, please let us know.

Investment: Documentary Newborn
To capture the authenticity of this session, documentary newborn shoots are better photographed in the comfort of your own home. For best light conditions, we ideally need to shoot in a tidy space with a good natural light source e.g. in a bedroom or spacious living area.
If you would like a documentary newborn shoot but prefer to shoot in our Sevenoaks home location, please let us know.
Travel expenses may be charged additionally for any home sessions outside of our one hour radius.

As perfect as your newborn is, giving birth and night feeds can certainly take it out of you. We understand you would like to look the best for your family portraits and so we offer a hair and make-up service using one of the industry's finest hair and make-up artists. If for nothing else, it's a great opportunity to kick back and be pampered for an hour.

Shoot After-Care
After your FayAndrea photoshoot, we will send an unretouched watermarked gallery of images with a reminder of everything included in your package. The gallery can be viewed on a computer or smart device via the Photo Moments app. Clients can either submit their edits via the app or email. Final images are retouched and sent to you via an online gallery for digital download and on a bespoke USB with license to print. Other Useful Info
Newborn photoshoots are our most sensitive sessions. To ensure baby and parents are at their most relaxed we recommend only those who really need to be at the session, be present. If you would like to include siblings in the photoshoot, consider asking a relative to bring them later on in the session, this is particularly relevant for younger children.
